Adapter Home
I have a wirless laptop and I purchased Belkin USB Network Adapter. At home I use Netgear and at my guy's
I bought the Belkin Wireless Router. I thought I would need the adapter. What is the benefit of the adapter? Should I return it, or can I use it with both routers?
Since your laptop already has wireless ability, then you won't need that USB Network Adapter. However, there maybe an advantage, some wireless routers and wireless NICs allow higher transfer rates if they are from the same company. I'm not sure about Belkin, but companies like Linksys and DLink wireless routers and wireless NICs have this feature.
NIC - Network Interface Card (wireless network adapter)
I doubt your really doing anything other surfing or email/IM, so it is probably better if you returned it for a refund.
