How long do custom times on a package take from USA to Australia?

my girlfriends birthday is on soon, but im a bit late, i wanna buy her this zelda hat but i'm afraid it'll arrive too late i've only got 9 days

how long are the custom times on average?
would be very very thankful for an answer
australian customs only takes about a day to clear. usually the postal service is what you have to worry about. from the sellers rates, it appears they will ship it first class international. sometimes it can take a week, a week-and-a-half, sometimes 3 weeks to arrive (if youre unlucky). they rarely lose anything so that you really dont have to worry about.
you would be chancing it by buying it with that small window of time to arrive. but its not impossible.
EDIT: hm i just noticed they are located in geneva il, which is very close to chicago. that should save a couple/few days since chicago is one of the main hubs for international dispatch. when i send packages it hast to first take a few days to travel to chicago before it is shipped out internationally
