I dont know whether or not to get a small Digital Camera or a Flip Video?
I want a small camera but also a camcorder. What would be better in the long run?
Still cameras are best at taking still photos. When you ask a small gadget like that to do two jobs, it has to compromise, i.e. the video quality will not be all that good.
Same for a camcorder..... they take great video footage, but their still photos are usually quite awful.
So sadly, you can't have two in one without major compromises.... you need to decide where your priorities lie.
Personally, I pick still photos because they are so much more versatile, e.g. I can look at them on lots of different types of screens/gadgets, print them, make slideshows, collages, etc.
