How do you feed a mount in World of Warcraft?
Specifically flying mounts, but answers for non flying would be appreciated too.
Anyways...I bought a Tawny..and equipped it...and...after using it for a while, it starts growling every few seconds, and I think it got a little slower too. Does this mean I have to feed it? And if so (or if not), how do I feed it?
You do not have to feed mounts, it's your imagination. There are a number of things that can increase movement speed though and maybe you were under that impression for a while and then it stopped. For example if you're a paladin you have an aura to increase mount speed by 20%, Riding Crop gains 10% speed, Carrot on a Stick is 3%, Mithril Spurs is 3% I think, paladins have a mount speed increase along with hunters I believe.
Edit: I just realized, for flying mounts when on the ground they're sometimes slower than when they're in the air. This is only the case with epic flyers, where on the ground they're 100% and in the air they're 260%. Normal mounts are 60% 60%, so when you have normal the epic ground mount is faster.
