Is this another option of not suscribing to traffic information from TOMTOM?
Manda are you sure it is a 1 year free suscription, I thought it was a free lifetime suscription?!
There are 2 ways to get traffic on your tomtom. You can get it through your phone if your phone is compatible and you have an unlimited GPRS data plan (which in the US means AT&T or T-Mobile) Or you can get it through the traffic receiver.
The traffic receiver includes 1 free year of traffic. If you use your phone you can get 30 days free. With either option the subscription price will be the same once you need to pay for it.
Also be aware only major cities are covered.
